OData Service for Microsoft Tech·Ed Sessions

Tech·Ed 2011 may be over, but you can still access the OData feeds

Are your fingers aching to do some data mining of your own? Are you looking to take our session data off the web and put it into your pocket? Are you the type that would like to develop your own Tech·Ed schedule planning app? If you answered "Yes" to any of those questions, then we have the data you need.

The Open Data Protocol, referred to as OData, is a new data-sharing standard that breaks down silos and fosters an interoperative ecosystem for data consumers (clients) and producers (services) that is far more powerful than currently possible. It enables more applications to make sense of a broader set of data, and helps every data service and client add value to the whole ecosystem.

The Tech·Ed Australia 2011 OData service is available at: http://odata.msteched.com/teau11/sessions.svc/

Please be aware we are still entering data into the Schedule Builder and not all feeds are fully populated. Please try again closer to the event.

More information on how to access and utilise OData can be found at http://www.odata.org/.

If you would like to take on the challenge and build solutions of your own for next year. And if you haven’t yet developed on the Windows Phone 7 platform, now is the perfect time to give it a try.

There are tons of great development resources available for the Windows Phone 7 platform:
